Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Document Editor to join our team at ManTech International. As a Document Editor, you will play a critical role in converting and editing U.S. Navy and Coast Guard technical Combat Systems Operational Sequencing System (CSOSS) procedures and drawings.

Responsibilities
  • Convert and edit technical procedures and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with strict editing standards.
  • Perform Quality Assurance checks on procedures and drawings to ensure compliance with editing standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to decipher redlines (changes) on technical procedures and drawings.
  • Apply redlines to XML formatted procedures and drawings in accordance with strict editing standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, and 1+ years of office administration or Naval business administrative experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with office communication, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience with Navy Maintenance databases, especially Maintenance and Ship Work Planning (M&SWP).
  • Experience applying redlines to XML formatted procedures and drawings in accordance with strict editing standards.
  • Experience applying redlines to drawings in accordance with strict editing standards.
  • 1+ years experience being able to decipher redlines (changes) on technical procedures and drawings made by validators (other team members) who recently visited updated ships.
Clearance Requirements
  • US Citizen and a currently active Interim Secret Security Clearance.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Ability to lift typical office equipment, supplies and files.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery.
