Position Summary

We are looking for a Family Resources Coordinator (FRC) to support our mission. The FRC will facilitate access to early intervention services through our Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT Program), assisting families of eligible children. This role serves as the primary liaison for families during their engagement with early support services, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to conduct family-centered screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine eligibility and contribute to comprehensive evaluation reports.
  • Educate parents and caregivers about the diverse aspects of child development, considering individual, cultural, and community differences.
  • Provide culturally sensitive support to caregivers in their natural environments, utilizing a coaching approach that fosters the holistic development of the child.
  • Assist caregivers in establishing culturally relevant routines that enhance the child's health and development.
  • Work alongside caregivers to create and implement the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) that nurtures healthy identities across various dimensions.
  • Build strong partnerships with caregivers and collaborate with community members and the ESIT team to address family needs.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, staff training, and peer consultation to enhance service delivery.
  • Integrate and adapt to cultural, racial, linguistic, and socio-economic diversity in daily practices by partnering with families.
  • Promote positive relationships between caregivers and children, fostering healthy attachments and interactions.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulations related to service delivery.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or relevant experience in social services or early childhood development; Bachelor's degree preferred, Master's degree encouraged.
  • Experience in case management, social work, family studies, infant mental health, early childhood development, or special education.
  • Strong understanding of child development from birth to three years.
  • Experience working with families and young children in diverse settings is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas effectively through various mediums.
  • Strong listening skills, with an appreciation for diverse perspectives.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and adapt to changes effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset, actively engaging with team members to support shared goals.
  • Commitment to inclusivity and respect for diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Strong decision-making abilities, considering relevant details and input from all stakeholders.
  • Self-aware and committed to personal and professional growth.
  • Experience in infant mental health and related systems is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance required.
  • Bilingual skills, particularly in English and Spanish, are a plus.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.

Work Schedule: This position is full-time and requires in-person engagement.
