Position Summary:

We are looking for a Family Resources Coordinator (FRC) to facilitate access to early support services through our Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program. The FRC will serve as the primary liaison for families with eligible children, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations while coordinating necessary services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to conduct family-centered assessments and screenings that inform eligibility and contribute to comprehensive evaluation reports.
  • Educate parents and caregivers about the diverse aspects of child development, considering individual, cultural, and community differences.
  • Provide culturally appropriate support in natural settings, utilizing a coaching approach that fosters the overall health and development of the child.
  • Assist families in creating and implementing the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) that nurtures healthy identities across various dimensions.
  • Build strong relationships with families and collaborate with community partners to address their needs effectively.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions, contributing to a supportive team environment.
  • Integrate cultural, racial, and linguistic diversity into daily practices, partnering with families to incorporate their traditions and languages.
  • Promote healthy attachments and interactions between caregivers and children.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or relevant experience in social services or early childhood development; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in case management, social work, family studies, infant mental health, or special education is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of child development from birth to three years.
  • Experience working with families in multicultural environments is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly in various formats.
  • Strong listening skills, appreciating diverse perspectives.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and anticipate challenges.
  • Collaborative team player, valuing diverse contributions.
  • Commitment to inclusivity and respect for diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficient in word processing and familiar with relevant software.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance required.
  • Bilingual skills, particularly in English and Spanish, are a plus.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification is mandatory.

Work Schedule: This position requires in-person engagement and is a full-time role.
