About the Role

Brookfield Properties is seeking a seasoned hospitality asset manager to join our team. As a key member of our asset management group, you will be responsible for maximizing property valuation, optimizing asset performance, and ensuring organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with hotel teams to create and implement operating models that maximize revenue and profitability
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual asset management and portfolio reports, cash flow forecasts, and distribution analyses
  • Monitor and analyze asset-level performance compared to industry benchmarks and company key performance indicators
  • Assist in the underwriting process for new acquisitions, assess market risk and opportunities, and conduct benchmarking analyses
  • Coordinate with treasury and accounting teams to assess weekly property cash flow needs, capital requirements, and property-level distributions
Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of experience managing hospitality assets, preferably in real estate private equity or real estate asset management
  • Deep experience in institutional asset management, strategic asset planning, and hospitality operations
  • Proven track record of being lead on portfolio management and asset-level analyses
  • Exceptional analytical skills and operational acumen to oversee and refine asset-level analyses
  • Effective presentation skills, including strength in verbal and written communications
Compensation & Location
  • Remote or in-office position - travel required
  • Salary Type: Exempt
  • Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
