Senior Knowledge Management Specialist

CONSTANT is seeking a Senior Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist to support the Office of Fleet and Asset Management (OFAM). The mission of OFAM is to provide effective and efficient management of Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) fleet and asset resources. This includes acquiring and disposing of vehicles and equipment, maintaining and repairing fleet assets, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and supporting operational needs through efficient asset management.
This Is What You'll Do
The Senior Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting knowledge management initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of SharePoint administration, customization, and troubleshooting, and a passion for aligning knowledge management practices with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and be able to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage knowledge management initiatives within the Office of Fleet and Asset Management
Oversee SharePoint administration, customization, and troubleshooting
Align KM strategies with organizational goals and objectives
Design and implement effective information structures
Plan, execute, and manage complex KM projects
Make strategic decisions and drive process improvements
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs
Lead and mentor junior KM specialists
Ensure compliance with information management regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required (Information Systems, Business Administration/Analytics, Technical Communication) or a relevant field
4-10 years of relevant KM experience
Expertise in SharePoint administration and management
Strong understanding of KM principles and best practices
Proven ability to lead and manage projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders
Knowledge of information management regulations and security standards
Must pass a CBP Background Investigation (BI)
