About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team at Staffing Proxy. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional hearing care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Patient Diagnostics: Administer hearing evaluations, tests, and examinations to diagnose and treat hearing-related issues.
  • Fitting and Dispensing Hearing Aids: Fit and dispense hearing aids and recommend assistive devices to patients based on their individual needs.
  • Patient Education and Support: Educate patients on the proper use and maintenance of their hearing aids and other hearing accessories.
  • Aftercare and Follow-up: Provide ongoing support and aftercare to patients to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
  • Collaboration and Outreach: Work closely with the optometry staff and leverage patient referral programs to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Current License: Hold a current license to dispense hearing instruments (HIS or BC-HIS).
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Problem-solving and Adaptability: Demonstrate outstanding problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
