About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Specialist to join our team at TA Instruments. As a key member of our Field Service Organization, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our customers across various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service, training, and technical support for our scientific instrumentation products.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot customer problems, and assist with parts management issues.
  • Repair, install, and calibrate instruments for efficient performance.
  • Prepare reports, logs, and documentation of service and repair activities.
  • Establish and maintain prompt professional communications with customers and internal resources.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or other science-related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support, and/or end-user utilization of scientific instrumentation.
  • Ability to perform effective system-level troubleshooting.
  • Strong customer focus, interpersonal savvy, and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
