Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a Scientific Instrumentation Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise on our innovative product suite, including Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Thermogravimetric Analysis, and Laser Flash.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service, training, and technical support for our scientific instrumentation products.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot customer problems, and assist with parts management issues.
- Repair, install, and calibrate instruments for efficient performance.
- Prepare reports, logs, and documentation of service and repair activities.
- Establish and maintain prompt professional communications with customers and internal resources.
- Provide information to customers regarding service products and offerings, and optimally sell service products and contracts.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or other science-related field.
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
- 2+ years experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support, and/or end-user utilization of scientific instrumentation.
- Ability to perform effective system-level troubleshooting.

- Interpersonal savvy, connect with different expertise levels appropriately, and change your approach to meet customers' needs.

Travel:
- A clean driving license and a valid passport will be required.
- This is a territory-based position with traveling within your designated territory, and occasional overnight travel may be required.
