Key Responsibilities- Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude, and provide support to referring physicians and patients.
- Schedule Appointments: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, and complete benefit checks and authorization for each patient's insurance.
- Manage Patient Files: Collect patient intake forms and maintain patient files/notes, and process repairs under the direct supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional.
- Provide Administrative Support: Prepare bank deposits, submit daily reports to finance, and manage inventory, order/monitor stock, and submit supply orders as needed.
- Support Event Planning: Assist with event planning and logistics for at least 1 community outreach event per month.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate degree preferred.
- Skills/Abilities: Professional verbal and written communication, strong relationship building skills with patients, physicians, and clinical staff, experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook, knowledge of HIPAA regulations, and EMR/EHR experience a plus.
- Work Experience: 2+ years in a healthcare environment preferred, previous customer service experience required.
