Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at CUT by Wolfgang Puck.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, setup and serve breads, pastries, desserts, ice creams, sorbets, and special request items in accordance with high-quality standards and specifications.
  • Assist in producing and plating pastries, desserts, ice cream and sorbets, and breads for daily lunch and dinner service (for a la carte and PDR menus).
  • Understand and maintain all standard pastry recipes.
  • Ensure all food supplies necessary for service are in appropriate supply on a timely basis.
  • Inspect all food products to ensure high quality and presentation.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in pastry arts with a passion for sweet and delicious creations. They will possess excellent culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Technical Culinary Program Degree with pastry emphasis.
  • Minimum 2 years pastry experience.
  • Demonstrate adequate pastry production and plating skills in high-volume, a la carte environment.
  • Open availability - must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
