Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Virtual Events Marketing Coordinator (Contract) to join our dynamic team at BARBRI. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with Marketing Strategy Leads to design, implement, and manage online events and webinars that align with our marketing objectives at both the product and corporate levels. The Virtual Events Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in the marketing funnel, overseeing all facets of event marketing from concept development to post-event evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Webinar Management: Spearhead the organization, promotion, and execution of webinar events, including presenter coordination, content development, and technical arrangements. Ensure that all elements of webinar production are effectively handled to deliver high-quality, engaging events on schedule and within budget.
  • Audience Development and Engagement: Formulate strategies to effectively attract target audience members for webinars, converting registrations into attendees, and advising presenters on maximizing audience interaction during sessions. Leverage email marketing, social media, and other digital channels to generate interest and drive sign-ups, ensuring broad outreach and active participation.
  • Content Development for Webinars: Collaborate closely with content creators to devise compelling webinar topics and materials that resonate with our brand strategy and meet the needs of our target customers. Work with subject matter experts to ensure the content is informative, relevant, and engaging.
  • Sales Collaboration: Partner with the sales team to utilize webinars as an effective tool for lead generation and sales support. Develop follow-up strategies to nurture leads generated from webinar participants, transforming interest into actionable sales opportunities.
  • Performance Tracking: Employ analytics tools to monitor webinar performance, gathering insights on attendance, engagement, and audience feedback. Use these insights to continuously refine and enhance future webinar strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure smooth cooperation with all relevant teams, including marketing operations for registration processes and technology setup, performance marketing for promotional strategies, and the creative team for branding and design elements.
  • Integration Across Platforms: Work closely with Revenue Operations and Marketing Operations teams to ensure seamless integration between webinar platforms, email tools, and video hosting with the CRM system. Actively participate in discussions to optimize lead scoring models.
  • Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality event execution.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, demonstrating a successful track record in executing marketing strategies.
  • Experience in the education or publishing sector is highly preferred.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing strategies, particularly in event promotion and audience engagement.
  • Familiarity with various webinar platforms such as Zoom, Adobe Connect, and Eventbrite is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across functions and managing relationships with speakers and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with exceptional project management skills, able to handle multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
