Job Title: Director of Technical Program Management

Meta is seeking a highly experienced Director of Technical Program Management to lead the XR TPM team in Reality Labs. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the development of core algorithms and platform development for next-generation AR and VR products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow the TPM team, driving development of core algorithms and platform development for next-generation AR and VR products.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product management leadership to define and revise the long-term strategy for the organization.
  • Develop end-to-end program plans, influence teams to deliver against them, and keep the organization and leadership informed on progress.
  • Perform risk management and change management on programs.
  • Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience with building and managing a team of Technical Program Managers.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional team.
  • Experience building and leading a technical program management organization through design, delivery, and commercialization of consumer electronics devices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience shipping consumer device software/developer APIs.
  • Experience in shipping AOSP and/or development of a custom OS.
  • Experience in scaling platforms and people for large-scale growth.

Compensation:

$240,000/year to $309,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
