About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at AC Hotel Portland Downtown. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner, providing accurate and timely information and services.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
  • Manage guest accounts, including calculating and posting monies, receipts, and other forms of credit.
  • Answer inquiries and accept reservations, both in person and by phone, using suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights and increase occupancy.
  • Maintain good customer relations by staying up-to-date on all in-house and area functions, answering questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No prior experience required, but a background in customer service or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Fluency in oral and written English.
