Position Title: PLS Manager

Location: Denver, CO

Overview: A reputable firm is in search of a Colorado Registered PLS Manager to oversee their surveying division. This organization boasts a diverse portfolio encompassing various projects, including residential, commercial, large mixed-use developments, energy, hospitality, healthcare, education, and municipal sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure precise field layout for construction activities, emphasizing meticulous attention to detail.
  • Oversee the collection of essential field data for processing ALTAs, boundary, and design surveys.
  • Utilize line coding systems effectively.
  • Review and approve construction plans, ensuring accurate calculations and training team members to uphold these standards.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with surveying equipment and software, preferably Trimble.
  • Facilitate communication among team members and engage with clients professionally.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in land surveying, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in surveying is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid PLS license is mandatory.
  • Strong technical writing, computer, and communication skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a surveying department.
  • Business development acumen is required.

Physical Demands:
