Compensation: The hourly wage for this position ranges from $35 to $45, depending on experience.

Position Summary: The Senior Project Surveyor/Technician will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of survey deliverables, coordinating with clients and design professionals, and guiding team members. Key responsibilities include processing and verifying survey data, preparing survey drawings, and creating various types of surveys and plats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze property boundaries for various projects including roads and pipelines.
  • Assist in quality assurance and quality control for survey processes.
  • Engage with design teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct reviews of survey products and staking layouts.
  • Oversee equipment calibration and adjustment procedures.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to survey staff.
  • Support project management including scoping and estimating.
  • Contribute to business development efforts.
  • Compile and analyze survey data to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Prepare proposals and manage project budgets and timelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of three years of surveying experience.
  • Professional Land Surveyor Licensure in Colorado or the ability to obtain it within six months.
  • Proficiency with Trimble field equipment and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
