Daily Responsibilities
- Play an active role in recruiting, mentoring, and guiding junior staff, providing daily training.
- Engage with clients regarding the delivery and preparation of all surveying services.
- Participate in business development efforts with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Establish property boundaries for various projects, including roads and pipelines, under the guidance of the survey project manager.
- Review and analyze survey field notes, collecting and processing three-dimensional field data.
- Prepare and supervise survey documentation and calculations for boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, and topographical surveys.
- Oversee survey drawings and descriptions using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software as required.
- Responsible for the preparation and management of construction surveying and layout services, including:
o Interpreting construction plans.
o Calculating points, alignments, DXFs, and other data using Civil 3D for field crews.
o Conducting and preparing construction as-builts.
- Understand surveying terminology by consulting relevant reference materials and communicating with survey staff.
- Adhere to surveying procedures and regulations in line with Galloway Standards.

Educational Requirements
- A minimum of high school or technical school education with coursework in survey technology, or equivalent experience.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification is required.
Experience Requirements
- Typically, a minimum of 10 years of surveying experience is required.
