In this role, you will support the Warranty Manager in overseeing Van Metre's warranty program for new homes within our communities. Your primary objective will be to provide an exceptional customer experience for homeowners by fostering positive relationships and delivering dependable services that enable homeowners to maintain their properties effectively. You will assist in managing daily warranty operations across one or more communities, ensuring a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Warranty Manager in addressing all warranty-related needs for assigned communities.
  • Act as a representative of Van Metre within communities during business hours.
  • Support the Warranty Manager in achieving departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as:
    • Ticket cycle time
    • Customer satisfaction/survey results
    • Budget and Purchase Orders
  • Serve as a point of contact for homeowner inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
  • Represent Van Metre at all Homeowner Reveals within assigned communities.
  • Develop the skills necessary to assess warranty item issues, identify root causes, and determine warranty coverage applicability.
  • Coordinate and oversee resolution efforts with trade partners, homeowners, and Van Metre team members.
  • Maintain detailed records of warranty items, actions taken, and resolutions achieved.
  • Utilize mobile devices, HubSpot software, and other applications to track and document team activities.
  • Proactively assist homeowners throughout their experience with Van Metre, ensuring all concerns are addressed.
  • Complete Van Metre's Warranty Training Program and continue to enhance knowledge of warranty processes and standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or two years of professional experience in a construction or maintenance-related field.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong customer service skills, including conflict resolution and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to CRM tools and applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

  • Salary: $62,000-68,000 annually (commensurate with experience, education, training, and skills).
