Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at IMEG Corp. As a leader in our Technical Operations Team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance, mentoring, and training to less experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior staff members
  • Make major design recommendations and design decisions with minimal input from senior staff
  • Plan and assign design work to staff members working on projects
  • Review correspondence prepared by junior staff members
  • Participate in quality control of projects
  • Contribute to leadership in technical operations for large and small projects
  • Act as an advisor and analyze technical problems
  • Provide technical assistance to resolve field issues
  • Effectively serve as Project Manager on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects
  • Identify prospective clients and assist in marketing efforts
  • Prepare proposals for services and participate in presentations to clients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer license
  • Minimum 13 years of qualifying experience
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds
  • Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms, and grasp or pull
