About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Materials Laboratory Technician to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. As a key member of our Construction Services team, you will play a critical role in testing and analyzing construction materials, ensuring accurate and thorough reporting of test results, and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and document tests on various construction materials with precision and attention to detail.
  • Ensure all laboratory equipment is well-maintained and properly calibrated.
  • Collaborate with experienced colleagues to ensure test results are logical, complete, and ready for review.
About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a High School diploma/GED and 0-2 years of experience in a construction materials laboratory. You should have effective math skills, basic understanding of weight, volume, pressure, and units of measure, and proficient communication skills using the English language.

You should also be able to proficiently complete data entry into multiple software applications on a smart device, using Microsoft Office and email. One or more active certifications, such as American Concrete Institute (ACI) or International Code Council (ICC), are a plus.
