Job Overview

As a Branch Operations Leader at First Financial Credit Union, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a supportive and innovative environment within our team. You will lead a group of 3-6 dedicated professionals, guiding them to meet service-oriented objectives while ensuring compliance with both Federal and State regulations. Your leadership will be essential in managing the branch's daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining adherence to security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their sales capabilities and overall performance.
  • Facilitate personal development plans for staff, promoting their growth and career advancement.
  • Encourage a positive workplace culture through effective team-building initiatives.
  • Ensure a high level of employee satisfaction and a constructive team atmosphere.
  • Participate in the hiring, disciplinary, and termination processes for branch personnel.
  • Oversee consumer loan funding, ensuring documentation accuracy and assisting members with their inquiries.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all branch operations, including audits and cash management.
  • Direct daily branch activities, ensuring efficient workflow and service delivery.
  • Supervise branch staff, determining personnel needs and supporting equal employment opportunities.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and recommend salary adjustments as necessary.
  • Encourage continuous learning and development through training programs and seminars.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Ensure compliance with BSA and OFAC regulations.


Qualifications and Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Branch Manager in the banking sector is required.
  • Familiarity with Real Estate loan departments and Consumer Lending is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and profitability.
  • Understanding of Credit Union operations and audit practices.
  • Strong supervisory skills to effectively manage a team of four or more.
  • Knowledge of Human Resource laws and regulations.
  • Ability to analyze business and personnel information independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional team-building and coaching capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
