Senior Contracts Manager Job Description

CircleCI is seeking a seasoned Senior Contracts Manager to join its Legal team. This role requires a highly skilled contract manager or paralegal with experience working at a SaaS company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract negotiation, a high degree of self-sufficiency, and excellent communication skills. They will work closely with CircleCI's Sales, Customer Success, and other teams to provide commercial transactional support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to review, redline, draft, and finalize contracts, including DPAs, NDAs, Order Forms, and SaaS agreements.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external parties to ensure efficient workflow and request management.
  • Perform general contract and administrative support, including coordination of legal matters and contract management.
  • Support the Legal team in meeting its Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
Requirements:
  • College degree, professional certification, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in contract management, preferably at a SaaS or technology company.
  • Extended experience with computer software applications, including Adobe Professional, DocuSign, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent redlining and negotiation skills, with the ability to defend redlines verbally and in writing.
  • Advanced issue-spotting and negotiation skills, with knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Organized, proactive, and resourceful self-starter with a demonstrated ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
