As a seasoned legal professional, you will provide expert guidance and strategic advice to the business and corporate support functions on complex and high-value third-party agreements, encompassing various areas such as technology-related, logistics and transportation, third-party product licensing, and manufacturing.
You will be responsible for undertaking or managing the drafting, negotiation, and finalization of contracts and other types of agreements, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business objectives.
Collaborating with the Legal IP, Privacy, Compliance teams, or other subject matter experts as required, you will build strong relationships with legal colleagues and key stakeholders to deliver effective legal and strategic advice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert legal advice and guidance on commercial contracts and agreements.
- Managing the drafting, negotiation, and finalization of contracts and other agreements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with legal colleagues and key stakeholders.
- Leading and managing others, commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
- Qualified in US (Juris Doctor) with a minimum of 8 years' experience.
- Prior relevant work experience in a reputable law firm and/or multinational companies is a prerequisite.
- Prior relevant experience handling commercial transactions related to the technology and digital landscape is a prerequisite.
- Proven ability to manage people.
- Experience of intellectual property work is a bonus.
- Proven ability to balance legal and business objectives.
- Experience with process management and corporate policy development and implementation is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to navigate complex organizations effectively.
- Proven ability to effectively influence, collaborate, and build partnerships with legal peers and the businesses.
