The MD Anderson Center is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the promotion and tenure award and renewal review process for faculty members. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of both digital and manual processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Digital Transformation: Create and maintain an online dashboard for faculty to track the status of their promotion packages, and transfer all manual uploading of faculty promotion applications into an online process for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Committee Coordination: Assist with the annual and new appointment committee process, providing feedback to department leadership, maintain and update committee databases, and assist in coordinating committee preparation activities, including scheduling committee meetings, organizing pre-review meetings, and updating committee documents.
- Document Management: Review all committee packets for completeness, identify missing information, and communicate with department chairs for updates, coordinate and participate in the pre-review of all committee actions, and serve as the primary data entry point for committee actions and generate reports.
- Oversight of Assessment of PTC Realignment: Define success metrics and outcomes, establish a data collection framework, conduct reviews to evaluate workflows and compare outcomes to benchmarks, and create regular feedback loops with stakeholders to refine processes and workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Three years of project/program coordination experience, or equivalent experience in project management, committee coordination, or digital transformation processes.
