Position Overview
General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a skilled and adaptable marketing strategist to spearhead the creation and implementation of impactful, integrated marketing initiatives for a federal government entity focused on international trade and law enforcement.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work closely with a team of marketing and communications professionals, technical experts, and senior executives to deliver top-tier marketing solutions. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing engaging marketing campaigns that align with strategic objectives.
  • Identifying marketing prospects and developing campaign materials.
  • Crafting content for various marketing channels, including websites, social media, thought leadership pieces, briefings, video scripts, and other promotional materials.
  • Consulting with and managing external vendors and marketing agencies to produce program content, including marketing videos and advertisements.
  • Building collaborative relationships with federal program experts, business development teams, and program leadership.
  • Leading and supporting special projects as needed.
  • Planning and facilitating meetings across multiple platforms (e.g., Teams, Webex, in-person) with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • The ability to obtain a Level 5 public trust clearance following a background investigation.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marketing, corporate communications, brand management, or public relations.
  • Experience in a federal government context, particularly in international trade or law enforcement sectors (preferred).
  • Proficiency in developing and executing cross-channel marketing strategies.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and content creation for both print and digital platforms.
  • Strong writing, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on results and impact.
  • The ability to work independently while demonstrating accountability for assignments.
  • A collaborative spirit, comfortable engaging in brainstorming and problem-solving discussions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

This position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with regular onsite presence in Washington, DC.
