Job Overview

The Corporate Chef is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations of multiple units within our brand. This position requires a strong leader who can guide the Executive Chef and kitchen teams towards a common goal, driving operational excellence and quality standards across all units.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of kitchen operations strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Provide guidance and direction to multiple kitchen teams, ensuring consistency and quality standards are met
  • Mentor and develop kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, partners, and clients to optimize costs and improve relationships
  • Manage day-to-day kitchen operations to ensure smooth functioning of all units, including inventory management and supply chain optimization
  • Perform evaluations of kitchen teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and implement systems to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve customer satisfaction
  • Direct the onboarding, training, and development of new staff members to ensure they are equipped to meet the demands of the role
  • Monitor and control controllable costs to operate within budget, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing initiatives to reduce expenses
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Proven experience in leadership roles, preferably as an Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or similar position, with a track record of success in multi-unit environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated and able to learn quickly, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the business
  • Able to work as a hands-on leader, with a passion for driving operational excellence and quality standards
