Job Summary

Ridgewells Catering is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of food production, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
  • Manage food production to ensure efficient and timely delivery of dishes to our clients.
  • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and ordering to meet budgetary guidelines.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume catering or restaurant environment.
  • BS degree in culinary science or related field.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
