Position Overview:
Wacker Chemical Corporation is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting various divisions and corporate functions, ensuring that our HR practices align with our commitment to excellence and innovation.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the HR and Talent Acquisition teams to meet recruitment objectives, including crafting and maintaining precise job descriptions, managing staffing levels, and enhancing the talent pipeline.
- Coordinate initiatives such as Trainee Development Programs in collaboration with educational institutions and organize recruitment events.
- Streamline HR processes by leveraging electronic systems, creating dashboards, and maintaining centralized data storage. Monitor and report on key HR metrics related to recruitment and retention.
- Oversee records of hourly team member pay progression, including annual reviews and payroll adjustments.
- Research and recommend updates to local and regional HR policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Support initiatives from Compensation & Benefits and Talent Acquisition & Development teams.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Human Resources or a related field, along with relevant HR generalist experience.
- A minimum of three years of experience in an HR generalist capacity, preferably within a manufacturing context.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems, such as SAP or Success Factors, is preferred.
- Proficiency in various MS Office applications.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
