Reports To: Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Overview:

Axiom Staffing Group is looking for a meticulous and organized Warehouse Inventory Supervisor to lead inventory management activities within our warehouse. The successful candidate will possess experience with NetSuite, demonstrate exceptional organizational capabilities, and have knowledge of forklift operations (preferred). This position is responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, enhancing inventory processes, and guiding a team to uphold superior inventory management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Oversight:
  • Track and uphold accurate inventory levels utilizing NetSuite, ensuring data accuracy and prompt updates.
  • Perform routine inventory audits and reconciliations to detect and rectify discrepancies.
  • Establish inventory control protocols and best practices to improve inventory flow and reduce stockouts and excess inventory.
  1. Warehouse Management:
  • Supervise daily warehouse functions related to inventory management, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to guarantee efficient and precise handling of goods.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery as necessary to support inventory activities (forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory).
  1. Team Development:
  • Guide and mentor a team of inventory control personnel, offering direction and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct training sessions for team members on inventory management practices, safety measures, and the use of NetSuite.
  • Assess team performance and implement enhancements to boost productivity and accuracy.
  1. Reporting and Insights:
  • Produce and analyze inventory reports to uncover trends, forecast requirements, and guide decision-making.
  • Work in conjunction with other departments, including purchasing and sales, to synchronize inventory levels with demand and organizational goals.
  • Address and resolve inventory-related challenges and discrepancies promptly.
  1. Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized warehouse space, following health and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field, demonstrating a successful track record in inventory control.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in NetSuite or comparable inventory management software; familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
  • Forklift Operation: Knowledge of forklift operation is preferred; certification is a plus.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to analyze data and create actionable solutions.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
