Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is seeking a Supply Chain Inventory Supervisor for a contract opportunity with one of our esteemed financial services clients.

Position Overview:

  • We are looking for a Supply Chain Inventory Supervisor to join the Enterprise Network Services team. This position will report directly to the Vice President overseeing our project management office and service delivery for network services.
  • The selected candidate will manage daily inbound logistics, oversee inventory management, and conduct functional analysis of infrastructure equipment acquired for the network services division.
  • This role will involve maintaining inventory across various warehouse and data center locations, as well as overseeing third-party warehouse and integration facilities.
  • The Supply Chain Inventory Supervisor will ensure the accuracy of real-time inventory data, interacting with specific vendor portals and various public/private databases.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inbound logistics, inventory oversight, and analytical assessments of inventory.
  • Ensure proper documentation of inventory, maintain accurate status, and identify and rectify errors within systems and reports, as well as discrepancies in vendor-hosted systems.
  • Supervise the execution and proper system updates of all inventory transactions, both internally and with third-party vendors.
  • Direct workflow of inventory to guarantee exceptional client service through effective planning and scheduling.
  • Generate business insights from inventory analysis and communicate key findings to management.
  • Conduct inventory assessments, including calculations, trends, and metrics, and recommend necessary corrections.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to establish metrics, reporting outputs, and inventory analysis.
  • Reconcile inventory and stock levels, identifying shortages to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Coordinate with vendors and company counterparts regarding hardware delivery statuses.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • At least 7 years of experience in an inventory management role within the Supply Chain, preferably in the IT/Technology sector or with a Technology Hardware Manufacturer or reseller.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly in PowerPoint and Word.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with Service Now and JIRA tools.
  • Understanding of Agile and Kanban methodologies.
  • Solid experience with SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and organizational skills, with the ability to manage conflicts and multitask effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business process skills.
  • A confident self-starter with a collaborative spirit and a high level of commitment.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Demonstrated time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines across various projects.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at all levels and influencing others.
  • Exhibits strong leadership qualities, with a proven history of managing projects during periods of change.
