Role Overview:

The Supply Chain Inventory Supervisor is accountable for managing inbound logistics, overseeing inventory management, and conducting thorough inventory assessments.

Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation of inventory levels, ensuring precise status updates, identifying and investigating discrepancies, and rectifying errors within both internal systems and vendor platforms.

This position entails supervising the effective execution and timely updates of all inventory transactions, both within the organization and in collaboration with third-party vendors.

The supervisor will allocate and direct inventory workflows to guarantee exceptional service delivery to clients through strategic planning and scheduling.

Additionally, the role involves generating business insights derived from inventory evaluations and communicating significant findings to management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive inventory analyses, including calculations, trends, and metrics, and providing recommendations for inventory adjustments.
  • Collaborating with senior management to establish performance metrics, reporting outputs, and inventory assessments.
  • Reconciling inventory and spare stock levels, identifying shortages, and ensuring adequate stock availability.
  • Coordinating with vendors and partners regarding hardware delivery timelines.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with exceptional organizational abilities. They should be adept at managing conflict, resolving issues, and multitasking effectively.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in creating PowerPoint presentations and updating Word documents.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with Service Now and JIRA tools.
  • Understanding of Agile and Kanban methodologies.
  • Extensive experience with SharePoint.

Qualifications:

The candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in an inventory management role within the supply chain, preferably in the IT or technology sector, including experience with technology hardware manufacturers or resellers.

A Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
