Reports To: Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Overview:

Axiom Staffing Group is in search of a meticulous and systematic Warehouse Inventory Supervisor to lead and coordinate inventory functions within our warehouse. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in inventory management, familiarity with NetSuite, and an understanding of forklift operations (preferred). This position is responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, streamlining inventory workflows, and guiding a team to uphold exceptional inventory management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Oversight:
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained through NetSuite, focusing on data accuracy and prompt updates.
  • Perform regular inventory checks and reconciliations to detect and address discrepancies.
  • Establish and enforce inventory control protocols and best practices to enhance inventory flow and reduce instances of stock shortages and excess.
  1. Warehouse Management:
  • Supervise daily warehouse activities concerning inventory management, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to guarantee efficient and precise handling of products.
  • Utilize forklifts and other warehouse machinery as necessary to support inventory operations (forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory).
  1. Team Development:
  • Guide and mentor a team of inventory control associates, offering support and direction to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct training sessions for team members on inventory management practices, safety measures, and the use of NetSuite.
  • Assess team performance and implement strategies for enhancing productivity and accuracy.
  1. Data Reporting and Analysis:
  • Create and evaluate inventory reports to identify patterns, predict requirements, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Work in conjunction with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to synchronize inventory levels with market demand and organizational goals.
  • Proactively address and resolve inventory-related challenges and discrepancies.
  1. Regulatory Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized warehouse environment, following health and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field, demonstrating a successful history of effective inventory oversight.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in NetSuite or comparable inventory management systems; knowledge of warehouse management systems is beneficial.
  • Forklift Knowledge: Familiarity with forklift operations is preferred; certification is a plus.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Leadership Qualities: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to analyze data and develop practical solutions.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education.

Work Environment:
