Pediatric Education Program Administrator Positions - Commonwealth of Virginia

  • Overseeing the design, execution, and evaluation of educational initiatives for various program sizes.
  • Creating educational resources, managing schedules, and handling financial documentation.
  • Engaging with program participants to ensure adherence to national accreditation standards.
  • Facilitating and coordinating departmental Grand Rounds and trainee seminars.
  • Supporting Promotion and Tenure processes for pediatric faculty in partnership with the Vice Chair of Academic Affairs.
  • Delivering comprehensive support to pediatric trainee programs in alignment with GME, ACGME, and institutional policies.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in administrative support roles. A Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of experience.

The Pediatric Education Program Administrator will report directly to the Medical Education Manager. For further inquiries regarding the position, please reach out to the designated Medical Education Manager.

This role is contingent upon project requirements, funding availability, and performance evaluations. It is classified as a non-exempt position with benefits and does not provide sponsorship for work visas.

Background checks will be conducted on all new hires prior to employment. A completed pre-employment health assessment is mandatory for this position.

References will be verified through a standardized process. A total of five references will be requested during the final stages of the interview process.
