An Assessed Internship provides an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the energy sector and gain insight into your career path. You will be actively involved in real projects that align with your interests and skills. Working alongside Shell professionals, you will gain valuable perspectives on our business and its demands.

A dedicated supervisor and mentor will guide you throughout your internship, with regular assessments to maximize your experience. You will participate in a formal mid-term review and present your project at the conclusion of your internship, engaging in discussions about project delivery and performance with your supervisor and mentor.

  • Typically spans 10-12 weeks in your selected business area.
  • Engages you in a real project with significant business impact.
  • Facilitates the identification of skills to develop through constructive feedback.
  • Fosters valuable networks and connections for future career opportunities.
We seek ambitious students currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution who meet the following criteria:
  • Must be an actively enrolled student with at least one semester of education remaining after the internship.
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.20 required.
  • Candidates must be U.S. citizens or nationals, permanent residents, refugees, asylees, temporary residents, or individuals with valid work authorization.
  • Work authorization sponsorship may be available for PhD and Master's candidates in specific disciplines.
For regular employees, benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, and participation in a pension plan and 401(k) plan. Interns may also receive medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and participation in a 401(k) plan, along with paid leave for holidays.
