Position Summary

Our Global Markets division provides a range of sales and trading solutions, including research services, to institutional clients across various sectors such as fixed-income, credit, currency, commodities, and equities. The Global Markets product suite encompasses both securities and derivative offerings in primary and secondary markets.

The Commodities Analyst Internship Program offers structured training and exposure to various commodity desks, including areas such as structuring/origination, sales, oil, natural gas, power, and investor products. Interns will gain valuable experience by engaging in both sales and trading activities.

Responsibilities of the Internship

  • Engage in specific commodity-related transactions, focusing on deal valuation and structuring while participating in discussions to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with market strategists and traders to align fundamental insights with trading strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing presentations, model development, historical data analysis, and report generation to stimulate interest in commodities and foster new business opportunities.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with expected graduation between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.2 is preferred.
  • Demonstrated academic excellence, quantitative abilities, strategic and creative thinking, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven effectiveness as both an individual contributor and a collaborative team member.
  • Desired traits include integrity, meticulous attention to detail, assertiveness, initiative, leadership qualities, a strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • A keen interest in global financial markets and the commodities sector, with a preference for candidates who have a strong inclination towards complex structures.
  • Familiarity with financial derivatives and global energy markets, along with a background in accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering, statistics, or programming is advantageous.
