About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a PGY1 Community Pharmacy Resident. As a resident, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in community-based pharmacy practice, leadership, and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of community-based pharmacy services
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal drug therapy for patients
  • Design and conduct a practice-based research project
  • Present research findings at regional and national professional meetings
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote patient care services
  • Provide precepting and teaching services to students
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from a college or school of pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education
  • Completion of 400 practice experience hours prior to the start of the residency program
  • District of Columbia pharmacist license within 90 days of the start of the residency program
  • Three professional letters of recommendation
  • Letter of intent explaining why you are pursuing a community pharmacy residency
