Position Overview:
As the Clinical Pharmacy Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the Pharmacy department's daily functions, including scheduling, personnel management, procurement of medications, and the coordination of pharmacy workflows. You will play a vital role in integrating pharmacy technology to uphold best practices.

In this role, you will also:

  • Engage in quality assurance initiatives and represent the department on various committees.
  • Serve as a resource for pharmacists and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy and other managerial counterparts on departmental projects and services.
  • Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance pharmacy services for patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in sterile compounding and hazardous drug management.
  • Manage staffing, recruitment, training, and development of team members to foster growth within the pharmacy operations.


Qualifications:
- A PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution is required.
- An active pharmacist license in the District of Columbia is mandatory.
- Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience is essential.
- Advanced training consistent with an MS, MBA, MPH, or equivalent managerial experience is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in hospital pharmacy practice is necessary.
- At least two years of supervisory experience in pharmacy is preferred.


Work Schedule:
This is a Full-Time position with Day Shift hours. No on-call or weekend work is required.


Compensation:
The salary range is competitive, with a minimum of $61.15 per hour. Compensation will be aligned with experience and equity for similar roles.
