Clinical Operations Manager for Infusion Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Pharmacy department, including scheduling, staff management, procurement of medications, and compounding processes.
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives and represent the department in various committees.
- Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy and other managerial staff to plan and implement departmental projects and services.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and monitor pharmacy services aimed at enhancing patient care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards regarding sterile compounding and hazardous drug management.
- Manage recruitment, training, and development of pharmacy staff to promote operational efficiency and employee growth.
Qualifications:
- PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Active pharmacist license in the District of Columbia.
- Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience.
- Advanced training in management (MS, MBA, MPH) or equivalent experience is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in hospital pharmacy practice.
- Preferred: At least two years of supervisory experience in pharmacy.
Work Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift. No on-call or weekend duties required.
