Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Risk Consultant to join our team at Wilmington Trust. As a Business Risk Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting the first line of defense risk management function by assisting with the identification and assessment of risks, risk monitoring and testing, and issues management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Identification and Assessment: Identify and assess risks associated with key business processes, including operational, compliance, and strategic risks.
  • Risk Monitoring and Testing: Assist in the planning, execution, and reporting of risk-based testing programs, including control testing and substantive testing.
  • Issue Management: Evaluate results to determine if issues exist, and independently perform scripted testing of controls and communicate results.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Accurately complete Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) and other risk management reporting, and assist in the creation of comprehensive key risk indicator (KRI) reporting.
  • Emerging Risks and Regulatory Requirements: Identify emerging risks and risks associated with new products, services, markets, channels, or changes to existing products, services, markets, or channels, and research and assess regulatory requirements impacting the business unit.
  • Remediation and Project Management: Provide guidance on the development of remediation plans, manage the timely completion of remediation plans and other projects to address issues identified internally and by Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit, or external regulators.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Build a working relationship with Internal Audit, Corporate Operational Risk, and Corporate Compliance Portfolio Managers, and adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $79,131,974.08 Annual (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
