Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple teams through other managers, with a deep understanding of how each team contributes to achieving business objectives and mitigating risk.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial industry, competitors' products and services, and commercial objectives of the business.
  • Lead the development of strategic direction for the function, with a solid understanding of the business and related subject areas, including risk management and compliance.
  • Execute functional strategy in area managed, determining approach to implementation and being accountable for end results, budgeting, planning, policy formulation, and contribution to future strategy.
Key Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in financial services, with experience leading analytical teams and managerial experience in risk management and compliance.
  • Experience managing teams with broad accountability in a complex environment, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional organization.
  • Ability to balance strategic priorities with tactical actions, with a proven track record of making quick decisions that have an immediate impact on business financials and risk management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate internally and externally at a senior level.
