Job Title: Director of Arts in Education and Community Engagement

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Arts in Education and Community Engagement program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative arts education programs that engage diverse communities and promote artistic literacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Design and implement arts education programs that meet the needs of diverse communities, including youth, educators, and community members.
  • Community Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with community partners, schools, and organizations to promote arts education and engagement.
  • Program Management: Oversee the implementation of arts education programs, including budgeting, contracting, and logistics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our team, including marketing, education, and community engagement staff, to ensure seamless program delivery.
  • Evaluation: Assess program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: At least five years of experience in arts education, community engagement, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, project management skills, and knowledge of arts education best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in arts education or a related field.
  • Experience working with diverse communities and populations.
  • Knowledge of arts education research and best practices.
