The Opportunity:

We are looking for an Inventory Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role requires a proactive leader who excels in managing intricate processes and guiding teams effectively. The Inventory Operations Supervisor will facilitate seamless communication across various internal departments, including warehousing, external manufacturing, customer supply chain, and logistics, ensuring that inventory is optimally positioned and available when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Inspire and guide team members, cultivating a positive and efficient work atmosphere.
  • Performance Oversight: Establish clear performance benchmarks, provide constructive feedback, and conduct regular evaluations to promote individual and team development.
  • Strategic Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory strategies based on data analysis from third-party logistics, customer supply chains, and planning, while innovating processes to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Logistics Monitoring: Oversee supply chain inventory and records, identifying cost-effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Problem Resolution: Act as the primary contact for daily inventory challenges, particularly those related to urgent orders and production timing.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct regular meetings with key third-party logistics providers and internal teams to manage inventory capacity and address any emerging issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Manufacturing and Logistics teams to minimize stockouts and effectively tackle order-related challenges.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports on critical metrics concerning inventory capacity, health, and quality assurance issues.
  • Order Management: Ensure timely and accurate processing of transfer orders and newly produced inventory.
  • Prioritization: Lead discussions to determine inventory placement and allocation based on customer needs and business objectives.
  • Issue Resolution: Drive efforts to address and resolve internal stakeholder concerns promptly.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Collaborate with Accounting and Finance to ensure operational activities are accurately reflected in financial records.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in Food, Beverage, and/or Consumer Packaged Goods is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
  • Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
