Responsibilities include utilizing a company-approved box cutter to open merchandise cases, strategically placing items on shelves, and ensuring alignment with company standards. The supervisor is also tasked with maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including checking temperatures in refrigerated sections and ensuring overall store security.

KEY DUTIES &

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivers customer service in accordance with company policies and expectations.
  • Oversees, trains, and assigns tasks to overnight stocking personnel, with potential involvement in scheduling.
  • Ensures accurate inventory management, including verifying shipments and maintaining backroom organization.
  • Utilizes equipment such as six-wheelers and pallet jacks to transport merchandise efficiently.
  • Unpacks and transports products to designated display areas.
  • Restocks shelves, ensuring items are faced and organized, while rotating stock and removing expired products.
  • Handles grocery and non-food orders, as well as conducting Backroom Inventory (BRI).
  • Returns surplus stock to the backroom and maintains an orderly inventory.
  • Operates electronic cash registers to process customer transactions accurately.
  • Handles customer payments and provides correct change.
  • Packages groceries in various types of bags and assists customers with their purchases.
  • Monitors employee performance and addresses any customer incidents on-site.
  • Maintains a clean and safe shopping environment.
  • Complies with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as company safety policies.
