Position Description

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is in search of a dynamic candidate for the Clinical Instructor Series specializing in spine surgery. This role is a fellowship with a full-time appointment in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. A valid California medical license is essential for the Clinical Instructor position. Rank and salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate must possess an MD degree, have completed an Orthopaedic residency, and demonstrate a commitment to developing expertise in spine surgery. The successful applicant will be expected to engage in the education and research of spine surgery for residents, graduate students, and medical students.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (required at the time of application)

Applicants must hold an M.D. degree and possess a California Medical License; completion of a Residency in Orthopaedics is required, along with Orthopaedic Board eligibility/certification with a focus on Spine Surgery.
