As a Clinical Instructor, you will play a vital role in teaching and mentoring residents, graduate students, and medical students in the specialty of spine surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs in spine surgery for residents, graduate students, and medical students.
- Conduct research in spine surgery and publish papers in reputable journals.
- Participate in departmental and university-wide committees to advance the field of spine surgery.
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop and implement curriculum in spine surgery.
- Provide clinical instruction and supervision to residents and students in the operating room and clinic settings.
- MD degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an Orthopaedic residency program.
- Board eligibility or certification in Orthopaedic Surgery with a specialization in Spine Surgery.
- California medical license.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring residents, graduate students, and medical students.
- Publication record in reputable journals.
- Experience in research and grant writing.
