About the Company

Wellsense, established in 2011, developed the VŪ system with the goal of eradicating pressure injuries. This clinically validated Patient Visualization System enables nursing staff, patients, and their families to visualize pressure points and monitor successful interventions. The VŪ system has achieved near 100% reduction in pressure injuries for hospitals nationwide and is experiencing rapid growth.

Position Responsibilities

The Clinical Specialist (CS) is responsible for delivering continuous clinical education, product training, and technical assistance for the Wellsense VŪ System, primarily within an ICU/Critical Care setting. The CS collaborates with clinical leadership to establish expectations, identify improvement opportunities, and meet objectives related to the utilization of the VŪ system for pressure injury prevention. The CS plays a crucial role in promoting product engagement, adoption, and seamless integration into the clinical workflow.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Registered Nurse (RN) preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of the Critical Care environment
  • Experience in training and mentoring healthcare professionals
  • Skilled in analyzing and interpreting clinical data
  • Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to protocols
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Prior experience in wound care and/or pressure injury prevention is advantageous

Physical Demands

· The role may require physical activities such as carrying, lifting, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.

· The employee must be capable of handling, placing, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

· Specific vision requirements include both close and distance vision.
