LaPlante Electric Inc. is seeking a dedicated Accounting Specialist to manage various financial and bookkeeping responsibilities. This role is a 100% in-office position.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our company. Your expertise will help us maintain accurate financial records and provide insights into our financial performance. You will utilize QuickBooks and other financial tools to manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile cash and credit transactions, perform job costing, and ensure timely payroll processing. Under the guidance of the CFO, you will create essential support schedules to present high-quality financial reports. You will collaborate with a dynamic team, eager to learn and grow together.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online, MS Excel, and MS Word
  • Skilled in Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, and Microsoft Teams
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience
