Regional Seafreight Pricing Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Sea Freight Pricing and Tender Manager to lead our pricing organization in the Americas region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing sea freight pricing for regional tenders and spot quotations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to drive business growth and profitability
- Manage a team of pricing analysts to ensure timely and accurate quote responses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends and optimize pricing
- Analyze service and performance issues, and implement corrective actions to improve customer satisfaction
- Consult with product leadership on pricing strategies and market trends
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure quoting effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Support the execution of commercial strategy and carrier policy
- Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Regularly review results and develop corrective actions to improve performance
- Own and maintain tender tools to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Regularly audit quotes for compliance and accuracy
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in international sea freight operations
- Strong knowledge of sea freight pricing and management
- Previous experience in managing pricing teams
- Understanding of pricing norms and trade lanes
- Ability to analyze and recommend price adjustments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish
