The Value and Pricing Strategy Analyst will work in close collaboration with the Pricing and Value Manager to support the firm's objectives related to strategic pricing, matter management, profitability, and comprehensive reporting. Under the mentorship of the Director of Pricing and Value, the Analyst will function autonomously within a structured, data-driven environment, providing valuable insights into legal pricing and financial metrics, legal project management, and data analytics while effectively managing responsibilities in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist and collaborate with the Director of Pricing & Value, Pricing Manager, Partners, and the Pricing & Value team on various reporting and pricing matters.
  • Oversee ongoing and completed projects and pricing tasks, maintain data matrices, and compile reports for senior management that summarize the team's activities and accomplishments.
  • Develop and analyze spreadsheets under guidance, transforming raw data into visually engaging reports and presentations using appropriate software.
  • Support Partners, Business Development Managers, and the RFP team in both domestic and international teams with pricing-related inquiries by providing analysis, strategic insights, advice, alternative fee arrangements, and presentations for RFP submissions.
  • Assist in scoping and budgeting for matters, monitor ongoing projects, conduct after-action reviews, and provide recommendations. Develop and deliver client and matter monitoring along with additional reporting.
  • Review Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs) to identify terms requiring further examination or modifications, assess other significant information and terms for tracking, and ensure database accuracy.
  • Generate and distribute various reports as directed. Merge and format documents in Adobe PDF.
  • Utilize client, industry, and peer survey data to inform recommendations for the Firm's annual rate-setting initiative.
  • Provide essential support to the Pricing & Value team for expense reporting and scheduling.
  • Perform assigned tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a business role is essential.
  • Previous experience in a legal firm or financial services organization is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, time management, and client service skills are crucial.
  • Proven planning and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.

This position operates in a hybrid model requiring on-site presence three days per week. Compensation is determined based on relevant experience and geographic location, ranging from $62,100 to $95,200.
