About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Manager Market Support to join our team at US Foods. Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery and Logistics: Manage deliveries to the routing schedule, troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process, and communicate with customers to resolve issues.
  • Account Management: Collect accounts receivable, work with the credit department and clients to resolve any issues, and ensure all balances are paid according to approved credit terms.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales to provide valuable insights to customers.
  • Travel and Transportation: Drive a motor vehicle to visit customers and prospects, ensuring product delivery and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry or a related field
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation abilities, and customer service skills; ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and a good motor vehicle record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual Spanish: Preferred but not required
Work Environment

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, often in variable weather and temperature conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the physical activities required for this role, including standing, walking, driving, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
