Market Development Representative

As a Market Development Representative, you'll play a critical role in driving market growth within a defined territory by identifying new business opportunities and expanding product usage among existing accounts.

You'll build and maintain strong customer relationships while executing sales strategies to increase market share and ensure the successful adoption of company products, contributing directly to the achievement of sales quotas and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and assessing market opportunities by conducting thorough market research, analyzing competitive landscapes, customer needs, pricing structures, and emerging trends.
  • Developing effective sales strategies that promote the company's products to healthcare professionals and support business expansion.
  • Assisting in the successful launch of new products and accounts by developing go-to-market strategies, coordinating with the marketing team, and training customers on the product's benefits and applications.
  • Staying updated on new developments, innovations, and regulatory changes in the healthcare and medical device industry, adapting strategies to ensure the company remains competitive and aligned with market needs.
  • Using Salesforce CRM systems and other digital platforms to track customer interactions, manage accounts, and create more personalized approaches for customer engagement and retention.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree required plus 1-3 years relevant sales experience preferably in the medical device industry, within an OR environment, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Solid business and financial understanding required.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining focus on both short- and long-term goals.
  • Self-starter, team player, proven leadership qualities, and execution.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
